Mid-Term Review


Happy Mid-Terms, Everyone!!

Twas the night before mid-terms
and all through the plane
not a figure was transforming
not even an isosceles trapezoid

oh well... I guess I'll hold onto my day job...


We are scheduled for one regular class period on Monday, unless you vote to make it a double-block exam in which case I can add several more proofs... your call. Feel free to express your preference below.

Please pick 2 or 3 Cumulative Reviews in the book (Chaps 2,4,6 offer a reasonable mix) and also be sure to check the specific chapter reviews for more in-depth treatment of each topic. There is NO specific homework. We will commence with Unit 7 on Wednesday. Friday is Quest Model UN day, so that will essentially be a day off... I'd like to think you could pre-read 7-1 to 7-4 and get your bibles up to "snuff" (google it... not a Henke-ism).

Please don't make yourself miserable studying for this exam... it is a grade-booster AND will be "open-bible" event (was that an earthquake?... no, I think it was a "stadium wave" I just saw going through 13 houses (make that 12 with a magnitude 8.1 in the Cooper's house) in Mo'town...).

    I'm doing the Cumulative Review on pg 428 and was wondering if we could do #19 in class tomorrow? I really don't get it.

      WOW!!... trouble with ONE problem on the cumulative review... I'll invoke a CODE BLUE ALERT and get the GRADE-BUSTER detectives on the scene!! We need to take immediate steps to avoid this disaster!! Thanks for the report!! You may have saved many unsuspecting geometry students from catastrophe, like maybe an A- or something horrible like that (let's try not to think about the gorey possibilities!!)

    Really no questions on the benchmark assessments! I will look at 7-1 to 7-4 and do some more review.. :)
