    I got to the part where I proved the triangles congruent, and I get the concept of how to prove what I am told to prove, but after the congruence I can't think of a way to put my ideas into proof form.

  3. If you are proving 2 triangles congruent that share a side but the points are named in a different order (ex. OE=EO) wouldn't the property be Symmetric POC, then? Because you are flipping the two.. It doesn't seem like Reflexive POE..

  4. I read the answer in the back of the book to #15, but I don't think I could do it on my own without looking back. I'm really confused! Too many steps! I have no idea where to go after proving the triangles congruent..
    Could we do this in class?

  5. I'M HAVING SO MUCH TROUBLE ON THE ONES THAT YOU HAVE TO PROVE SOMETHING BISECTS SOMETHING OR SOMETHING IS PERPENDICULAR TO SOMETHING :( I just can't find any ways to go from proving the triangles congruent!

  6. I CANNOT do #21,#22... I just can't.. I got stuck after Segment Addition Postulate (AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF THAT'S RIGHT!!)

    Proofs are tough, but I think you'll feel better after tomorrow's class. The harbinger of learning is confusion (Chamberlain, 2011).

  8. Dear Coming and Going... I like the way you think, however, OE and EO are simply two ways to name the same segment... so it IS the reflexive property. It is best to name them in the correct sequence for the sake of triangle congruence and order of vertices.
