Isnt math so much fun!? I could just do it ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL DAY!
I'm confused.. Would the inverse of #2 be "If a figure is a rectangle WITHOUT sides 2cm and 3 cm.." or "If a figure is NOT a rectangle with sides 2cm and 3cm.."They are both negated, how can I tell?
Would this be correct for #8?"If you are Hank Aaron, you broke Babe Ruth's home-run record."Or is there a better way to say it?
You could begin the inverse with either of your two options. YES, I AGREE... the wording can sometimes be confusing. That's why lawyers take geometry!I thought question #8 stunk, and your answer is a good one... the book says:"If a baseball player is Hank Aaron, then the player broke Babe Ruth's home-run record."I like your answer better... both are correct.Remember, as we learned last year, as we ascend the ladder of mathemeatics, there is no one process and sometimes more than one answer!!It's an exciting time to be a mathematician, yes?!
