im really stuck on 23 of the midchapter quiz...i feel like it should be much easier than i am making it out to be...all the answers i have figured don't make sense...the measure of angle FCA equaly fifty seems like it is really important, but i can't figure out why
When recreating an angle, for example on #22, am I allowed to extend the "Base line" of the angle so I can recreate it more easily? Or is there a better way?
I'm stumped on #24 on the Mid-Chapter Quiz.. I tried to make a line where 'Q' was not the midpoint but couldn't come up with anything, but I have a feeling that "My friend" (As stated in the question) is not correct..
Do we have to memorize the definitions of all of the postulates for the quiz, or do we just need to know how to use them? Will the postulates all be on the quiz?
For #27 on pg 39, how do we know if they angles are congruent or not? Because then we cannot find x by substitution...
ReplyDeleteDoes a bisector always intersect in the exact middle of an angle?
ReplyDeleteyes a bisector always intersects in the middle. that's the definition
ReplyDeleteWOW, THANK YOU LYC!! Actually, you should look up the specific wording of the definition and record it in your Geometry Bible.
ReplyDeleteOur book says: An angle bisector is a ray that divides an angle into two congruent angles.
Please take note of the clear and precise language used in geometric definitions in our book.
Will there be a topic for quiz questions?
ReplyDeleteok...on the quiz question topic..

I NEED A QUIZ QUESTIONS TOPIC :(
ReplyDeleteWell, here come my quiz questions.
ReplyDeleteWhen recreating an angle, for example on #22, am I allowed to extend the "Base line" of the angle so I can recreate it more easily? Or is there a better way?
ReplyDeleteI'm stumped on #33 on pg 48. I don't understand the wording or how to fit the right words into the sentence for it to make sense...
ReplyDeleteI'm stuck on #16 on the Mid-Chapter Quiz on pg 41. I have no idea how to find x! Help?
ReplyDeleteIs there a more "Geometric" way of solving #22 on the Mid-Chapter Quiz or can I just subtract 95 from 130 to find the measure of the angle?
