Summer Packet Musings?

No worries on getting the packet to FMS...  Friday 9/2 or Tues 9/6 is great... if not Weds or Thurs works, too!  Ca-peesh??

    Would #12 be "no real solution" ? Because I used the quadratic formula and the "b^2-4ac" (I forget what its called) came out with a negative number...

    Exponents are simply shorthand for multiplication, right?

    In #12, the DISCRIMINANT is discriminating between _______(?) and imaginary number solutions.

    I would REALLY REALLY like to see more than 2 students using the blog this year... my dear students of the 21st century (??!!!???!?!).
